We want you to know that we take your privacy seriously. Your privacy is very important to us.
We will only collect minimal, basic information about you to improve the product experience and optimize the impact. We strive for a balance between your privacy and your experience.
We will only use the information in a way that is transparent and benefits you, and only with your permission.
We will only store your personal information for only as long as we have reasons to keep it and delete it when we no longer require it.

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you download the Aya Contigo App from the playstore, or view the Aya Contigo app through the web browser.

1)What Information does Aya Contigo Collect
The Aya Contigo App itself does not collect any personal information from users. When users voluntarily communicate with the Aya Care Chat Support Team (either via the chat in the App, our WhatsApp number or email address), we will have access to the information you choose to share with us (“Voluntary Information”). We will always ask for consent to collect any personal information and consent to share this information with trusted referral partners. You are free to refuse our request for your personal information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide you with some of your desired services with our trusted referral partners.
We collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the app, we collect information about the individual pages that you view, and information about how you interact with the app. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

2)How will your information be used
The Aya Care Team will collect Voluntary Information such as demographics in order to understand and improve Aya Contigo’s operations and services. Other Voluntary Information such as email, phone number, and name are also collected to ensure appropriate referrals to trusted partners only if necessary, and to solicit feedback on your experience with Aya Contigo and our partners. We will use only anonymized or aggregated Voluntary Information for research and analytics purposes.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our App (for example, by generating analytics about how users browse and interact with the App, and to assess the success of our outreach activities).

3)Data security and retention
We use reasonable security practices and procedures, including managerial, technical, operational, and physical safeguards, to protect your personal information. We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. What data we store, we’ll protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.

4)Compliance with laws and law enforcement
If you decide to share Voluntary Information with us, we may share such information only as required by Canadian law under these circumstances:

We are committed to prioritizing/defending the universal human rights (as per the UN Human Rights Charter) of all our users and will work with our legal partners to do so before putting any of our users at risk.

5)Links and referrals to other resources or services
The App may link to external websites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and practices of these sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these external sites you are visiting.
The Aya Contigo team has carefully chosen and partnered with trusted third-party organizations in order to refer users to appropriate services when requested. We have privacy and security protocols and agreements in place with these trusted partners, however we cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of every trusted referral partner before using their
services.
6)Changes to this Privacy Policy
If we make changes to our Privacy Policy, we will post these changes on this page or otherwise make this revised information available to you.
